Dr. Ameena Kemavor or “Dr. K.” is an independently licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervision endorsement in the State of Ohio who has been working in the field of mental health and community services for 29 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in clinical counseling and a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision.
She is certified in several areas of clinical practice such as suicide prevention, anger management and trauma. Dr. K. began her career providing inpatient psychiatric care to youth and adults and has experience working with people diagnosed with severe and non-severe mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders.
